Our teacher training course fulfills the requirements for a COMENIUS-GRUNDTVIG grant. The main objective of this Spanish course “Curso práctico de 1 y 2 semanas - perfeccionamiento y reciclaje para profesores NO-NATIVOS de español como lengua extranjera - Niveles C1/C2” is to offer non-native Spanish teachers the opportunity to update and perfect their knowledge of the Spanish language and to exchange experiences regarding methodological and pedagogical issues.

In the mornings students are participating in Spanish lessons. In the afternoons different cultural activities are complementing the Spanish course: cooking classes with Javier, guided tours to the cathedral, the old arabic quarter Albaicín and the Alhambra with Juan, a workshop about Semana Santa processions and a half day trip to an olive oil mill in Nigüelas are part of the cultural programme.

Together with our guide from Oliveoil Tours, we will walk amongst majestic olive trees and will experience the beautiful Andalusian countryside. After visiting a beautifully preserved 15th century olive oil mill in a charming white village, enjoy tasting and discovering the different characteristics of various olive oils. We will discuss with you the many health benefits and different culinary uses. In an specialized store you will find the best selection of olive oils, cosmetics made from organic extra virgin olive oil and related Andalusian products. I have been twice in this school (march 2012 for 4 weeks and february 2013 for 3 weeks). The Escuela Montalban is located in a nice and wellequiped attached house very close to city center of Granada nearby all the local curiosities and other points of interests. All can be done by foot.
The staff is friendly and the qualified teachers are very patient with each student. Never the Spanish courses are owercrowded; roughly 4 to 6 students per level. In my case this year I have been alone, it was really a private course. The organisation is very flexible according the student's needs. The spirit between the students is outstanding and encourage to do activities together in the evening. The school proposes a lot of cultural activities, it's up to you to register for it (tapas tour, hiking in the Sierra Nevada, horse rinding, Arabic bath.visits ...)
Really I recommend this Spanish language school with out hesitation!
Enjoy Granada, the school ..... and the tapas, because tapas are a religion .... let you convert!!!
