We invite you to get to know
Granada, photographing its emblematic places, seeing at the same time unknown places in the
Albaicin or the
Sacromonte with new perspectives, views and suggestive details to portray. We also invite you to discover, to portray and live the sensations of the spectacular landscapes of the province of Granada and its surroundings, from the breathtaking peaks and deep valleys of the
Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarras with its lovely white villages, the lush vegetation and the crystal clear waters of the rivers and waterfalls of the Sierra Almijara, the labyrinths of stone of the Torcal de Antequera, the abandoned
berber villages of the Sierra de Baza and the incredible desert landscapes in the area of Guadix.
The photographic excursions include two photographic strolls through the city. Having a reflex camera is an advantage but is never a requirement to participate. A handbook of landscape photography and compositions will be provided to the participants of the course.
Peter Manschot and his work Of Dutch origin, has portrayed the varied landscapes of Andalusia for more than fifteen years, dedication that is materialized in the publication of five photo books of author. His way of living photography, spending many days and nights in the mountains, has given him a great knowledge about the places and their most photogenic moments (composition, light and time, atmosphere), experience he shares in the photographic journeys and workshops he offers.
