The First Spanish Football League: Granada CF

The Primera División is the highest Spanish football league. It has existed since the 1929 season and is run by the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) (known as La Liga). From 2008 to 2016, the league had the sponsor name Liga BBVA. In 2016, La Liga Santander was confirmed as the new name sponsor of the Spanish football league, replacing BBVA with another bank. According to the current UEFA rating, clubs from Spanish league football have achieved the best results in European competitions over the last five years.

Granada Club de Fútbol, or simply Granada CF, will play in the first division of Spanish football in the 2023/2024 season. The home games take place in the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes.
