Spanish teacher training in Granada, Spain
These training courses for non native teachers of Spanish fulfill the requirements for Erasmus+ grants.
The main objective of our
training course “Curso práctico de 1 y 2 semanas - perfeccionamiento y reciclaje para profesores NO-NATIVOS de español como lengua extranjera - Niveles C1/C2” is to offer non-native Spanish teachers the opportunity to update and perfect their knowledge of the
Spanish language and to exchange experiences regarding
methodological and pedagogical issues.
Speaking exercises focus on the study of
Spanish culture, so that the teachers practise and improve their language skills while learning about Spain's current social and cultural reality. We also place special emphasis on grammar structures for proficiency levels. In addition, we work on methodology and didactic aspects of teaching Spanish as a foreign language, giving participating teachers practical tips for their own teaching. We also incorporate the use of
digital tools and learning methods.
Participants go through a process of renovation that will invigorate their teaching. They think about their teaching activities and different aspects that encompass
language acquisition and
foreign language learning.
Both public school Spanish teachers or adult education teachers take part part in our training courses. Teachers with a B1/B2 level may also participate in the training. In this case, they take part in a B1/B2 grammar course and then they join the methodological, pedagogical and cultural part of the training.

Erasmus+ grantsOur school has been offering training courses for Comenius-Grundtvig teachers since 2008. In 2014 the former Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) has been replaced by the new European Education Programme Erasmus+. Teachers from EU member states, along with Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Macedonia and Turkey can apply for Erasmus+ funding. Grants for public school teachers and for adult education teachers promote the mobility of individuals. Through this programme teachers can apply for a scholarship for our training courses. The grants generally cover travel expenses, course and accommodation costs.
Individuals cannot apply directly for grants; and should instead contact their university, college or organisation.
To assure a good preparation of the course, or should you need any help with the application, please contact us and make a pre-registration. Shortly after the pre-registration, you will receive a confirmation mail. Upon request, we will also send you a detailed course programme.
