Otra vez estamos impresionadas por los buenos guías que han contratado. José es genial y a los alumnos les ha caído muy  bien y ha logrado darle a los alumnos tanta inspiración y despertado su curiosidad por la historia y la cultura española.

Las profesoras de los dos grupos también han sido muy inspiradoras y nuestros alumnos han aprendido muchísimo y desarrollado su lengua de una manera impresionante en tan poco tiempo. Ahora solo falta darles las gracias a las madres de casa que recibieron a nuestros alumnos con tanto cariño y también contribuyeron a darles una imágen bonita del país.

A vast range of patios await your viewing in Córdoba every year, with not only private, single-family homes opening their doors to show you the lovely courtyards around which their old-style homes centre. There are also larger, low-built, apartment-style buildings that have amazing courtyards where often many gardeners will work together all year to cultivate the special gems that are their shared meeting areas. These patios not only offer a visual feast of colourful flowers, stone mosaics and ceramic decorations, but also bring out the classic scents of Córdoba: jasmine and orange blossom mixed with a myriad of scents from the many other flowers and plants that bring the city – and this festival – alive.

They participated in a Spanish course with daily cultural activities such as: a trip to the beach and guided visits to Albaicín, Sacromonte and Alhambra.

Nicanor Parra, de 97 años, no pudo acudir al acto de entrega del galardón, el más prestigioso de las letras hispanas, en la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.

Cristóbal Ugarte, nieto del autor, recibió el premio y fue el encargado de leer el discurso de aceptación escrito por Parra. A su lado tenía una vieja máquina de escribir con la que Parra escribió numerosos poemas.

Nicanor Parra es considerado el creador de la denominada antipoesía. Además, es el único superviviente del trío más famoso de poetas chilenos, con Pablo Neruda y Vicente Huidobro. Es hermano de la famosa cantante Violeta Parra, ya fallecida.
