Casa del Arte Flamenco is a cultural space created for traditional flamenco performances. It is located in the old part of town in Granada, a few metres far from the lively and charming Plaza Nueva and near the Alhambra.

In Casa del Arte Flamenco our students will be able to enjoy Flamenco art which began at the beginning of the XIX century in Andalusia, having its first performances in places known as  “café cantantes”, which were the main temples of the flamenco singing and dancing.

Casa del Arte Flamenco welcomes you and invites you to get to know and feel the flamenco through the best artists of this universal art which is “cultural heritage”.

Ker smo srebrni študenti aktivni, polni energije in zvedavosti, smo se odpravili na nov izziv v pravo špansko šolo.

Razporedili so nas v tri stopenjske skupine. V dopoldanskem delu dneva smo obnavljali in nadgrajevali znanje. Profesorji so se ukvarjali z vsakim posebej in mu podali snov na način, ki je bil prilagojen posamezniku in njegovemu znanju.
Naše znanje smo podkrepili še v praksi in to z intervjuji na ulicah. Domačini so bili takoj pripravljeni na sodelovanje in akcija je stekla prav profesionalno. V popoldanskem času pa so nam na slikovit način prikazali najpomembnejšo špansko kuturno dediščino - spomenik Alhambro. S filmom o katoliški kraljici Juani (Juana la loca) so nam predstavili delček španske zgodovine. Ekskurzijo smo imeli tudi v sosednji kraj Zubio, kjer ponovno uveljavljajo ekološki način pridelave sadja in zelenjave.

Na zaključni podelitvi certifikatov o opravljenem tečaju smo v španskem jeziku predstavili Slovenijo po pokrajinah, njene naravne lepote in kulturne znamenitosti. Iz grl je privrela slovenska pesem, z energijo nabiti podplati pa so se ob polki tudi zavrteli. Nazdravili smo z njihovim čokoladnim in našim teranovim likerjem.

Da znamo nekaj španščine, smo dokazali s pesmijo Granada in povabili španske  profesorje v Slovenijo, da si v živo ogledajo lepote naše dežele in okusijo našo kulinariko. V ta namen smo jim izročili veliko promocijskega gradiva o Novi Gorici, Krasu, Soči, Primorski in Sloveniji.

Sošolka Silvija Velikonja pa je profesoricama poklonila čipke, ki jih je izdelala sama. Obe sta bili zelo ganjeni.

This week we will offer a guided visit to the cemetery of St. Joseph. This activity will give you a different approach to life and history of Granada.
Constructed urgently in 1805 next to the Nasrid Alixares Palace due to the yellow fever epidemic that gripped the city, is the forerunner of the cemetery known as San José (St. Joseph) today. It has a logical location, in the privileged complex of monuments and landscape of the Alhambra, construced outside the city on the orders of king Charles III.

Successive projects and extensions by important architects and sculptors have definitively fashioned the courtyards we will find on our stroll through the city’s memory.

We will be accompanied along our route, where there is a  lot more to discover than two centuries of history, by memories of  those who lie herre, the artwork and singularity of their pantheons and the coppice surrounding them.

90 course providers from all over Europe joined the event to discuss the outlines of the new European Erasmus+ Programme.

Teachers can apply for grants to attend courses within Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) which promotes learning mobility of individuals.
New application deadline: 17 MARCH 2014
Very important: The new application process does not offer the possibility of individual applications any more. Applications will go through schools.

Criteria for evaluation of the application of the school:

- Relevance of the mobility project.
- Quality of the design and implementation: preparation, follow up, objectives, planned activities, criteria for participants’ selection, arrangements for the recognition of the training activities.
- Impact and dissemination: measures for evaluating and disseminating the outcomes of the project, impact of the activities on the teachers and the institution as a whole, dissemination outside the school.
- One single application per institution for all planned training activities abroad during 1 year or 2.
- Schools will have to write a “European Development Plan” (reflections about the school’s need of training / about sensible preparation and follow-up).
