Today, after the Spanish class, the school prepared a Paella with Sangria for us.
Muchíssimas gracias por un curso de español fantástico, bien organizado e interesante.
Spanish students during the course week of 13.02.
On m'avait déjà beaucoup parlé de la magie de Grenade en été, mais les grosses chaleurs n'ayant jamais été mon fort, j'ai préféré découvrir la cité Nasride en décembre, également motivé par le fait qu'il y aurait moins de touristes.

Mein erster Spanisch Sprachkurs in Spanien!

Our last Spanish lessons with Paco!
Hola Margaret, Hola Paco:
Qué tal estáis? Espero que muy bien y con alumnos más serios que nosotros ...

I've already been to some Spanish schools in Spain, but I've never felt as welcome as in the school Montalbán.
Studying here you don't only learn Spanish, the qualified teachers (who even manage to make shy people talk) will provide you a hugh range of information about the Spanish culture, even more if you take part in the extra activities in the afternoon, which I highly recommend!!! And there are so many options!!! You can go to the impressive Sierra Nevada for a long walk or for skying, depending on the season, you can see a lot of dance festivals and even take Tango lessons at school by Carina and William - they were so patient with us!!! - and don't miss the arabic baths to relax enjoying a massage. Really, it's impossible to be bored in Granada! Even the beach is just about 50km away and there are buses with a good frequency... So, what are you waiting for? :-)

When I first came to Spain on the 3rd of September I was only know two words in Spanish: “Ola” which means “Hello”, and “Gracias”, which means
”Thank you”!
I got enrolled on the Spanish courses in Escuela Montalban on the first week of October and now after one month I am happily able to communicate in Spanish with locals and foreigners who speak the language! It’s true that every week I was improving since we had classes every day and the most important thing is that the instructors were teaching us with example that we were facing in the everyday life in Granada, by using an entertaining and the same time interesting way of teaching.
I really enjoyed the time in classes and the discussions we
had with my classmates and the instructors since we communicated issues
which deal with the background of each one and as well issues which deal
with the culture and history of Spain, which is without doubt,
interesting. What is more, the life in Granada is amazing! This city is
so lively, with a great amount of young people studying and so many nice
things happening every day. A typical week during my studies in Escuela
Montalban apart from classes concluded in fiestas in the magnificent
old Moorish quarter of the Albaicín, nice walks in the small paths
around the great world-famous Alhambra, relaxing moments in small
squares with great views for studying a book or doing homework, open-air
yoga classes in a wonderful square called “Huerto del Carlos” and
nightwalks for tasty “tapas” in different bars. During the weekends I
had the opportunity with the helpful directions of my teachers to visit Sierra Nevada and spend the night in a refugee or to go with my
classmates in the sea since from Granada you can easily reach in 30
minutes spectacular mountain or sea sides.
Therefore, I definitely recommend Escuela Montalban and Granada for studying Spanish, you will enjoy it for sure!!!
