Just got back to Canada a few hours ago after 4 months in Granada. As beautiful a city as it is, it was the people that really made it feel like home and a place that I didn't want to leave. So I'd like to thank everyone I met in Granada for making it a truly amazing experience and all of the people at Escuela Montalban who, in spite of my complete ineptitude at learning languages, were always patient and made me feel like part of the family. Anyway, thanks again to everyone and make sure we stay in touch!

They have a very different strategy to teach Spanish which is very useful to learn really much thing in a short time. What I most like about this school is; they are not only a Spanish course, but also they are taking care of all your problems and necessities. For example you can leave at your home all the stress of booking a hotel/hostel, arranging a transfer from your airport etc. or if you would like to have a guided city tour in Granada, trekking, ridding Andalucian horses, dive in Cabo de Gata, see a Flamenco show or whatever, they arrange all for you! So that you can just concentrate to learn the language and have fun in your times in Granada. I think that is one of the most important values of Escuela Montalban-Granada.

I felt totally comfortable in the course and learnt really huge amount of Spanish in a short time. Honestly all the professors, managers and workers are very friendly. You need to be here to understand what i would like to say. You will not want to turn back to your country :)

One more thing! I felt something here, that all the students are willing to learn this language. I havent seen untill now any person who is bored of the classes. I dont know why but everyone wants more homeworks :) This school is magical i guess :) Seriously, if you really want to learn Spanish and Spanish lifestyle, in my opinion there can not be a better place than here. I would definitely recommend Escuela Montalban-Granada to anyone who is looking forward to learn or improve their Spanish.

I have been twice in this school (march 2012 for 4 weeks and february 2013 for 3 weeks). The Escuela Montalban is located in a nice and wellequiped attached house very close to city center of Granada nearby all the local curiosities and other points of interests. All can be done by foot.
The staff is friendly and the qualified teachers are very patient with each student. Never the Spanish courses are owercrowded; roughly 4 to 6 students per level. In my case this year I have been alone, it was really a private course. The organisation is very flexible according the student's needs. The spirit between the students is outstanding and encourage to do activities together in the evening. The school proposes a lot of cultural activities, it's up to you to register for it (tapas tour, hiking in the Sierra Nevada, horse rinding, Arabic bath.visits ...)
Really I recommend this Spanish language school with out hesitation!
Enjoy Granada, the school ..... and the tapas, because tapas are a religion .... let you convert!!!

La Escuela Montalban a Granada e' stata una vera sorpresa, sin dal primo momento ho capito che mi trovavo in un posto speciale e ora che la mia esperienza e' terminata so di non essermi sbagliato. Al suo interno si puo' assaporare un mix azzeccatissimo di familiarità e professionalita' che consente allo studente di apprendere in tutta tranquillità una nuova lingua. Anche il rapporto tra gli stessi studenti e' ottimo, ciò grazie alle numerose attività che la scuola organizza. Insomma, forse sarà perché Granada e' una delle città più belle del mondo, forse sarà perché la scuola si trova in un antico edificio granadino, forse sarà per la somma di tutto questo, pero' credo sia stata una delle esperienze più belle che ho vissuto, e cosa ancora più importante parlo uno spagnolo "de puta madre".

Este curso foi uma experiência única, não podia ter sido melhor. O ambiente que se vive na escola é algo inexplicável. As nossas escolas ainda têm muito que aprender. O relacionamento entre todos os que nela trabalham e os alunos que a frequentam é, como dizem nuestros hermanos, "de puta madre".

Les queremos agradecer montones por todo lo que nos han brindado durante nuestra estancia en Granada. Los estudiantes lo han pasado muy bien. Les han gustado las clases y los profesores y me aseguran que han aprendido y adelantado mucho. Las familias también han sido muy especiales. Aprendimos mucho y pasamos rico en los paseos culturales. Sobre todo ha sido una experiencia excelente. La ciudad de Granada es bella, pero la gente la hace especial.

Otra vez estamos impresionadas por los buenos guías que han contratado. José es genial y a los alumnos les ha caído muy  bien y ha logrado darle a los alumnos tanta inspiración y despertado su curiosidad por la historia y la cultura española.

Las profesoras de los dos grupos también han sido muy inspiradoras y nuestros alumnos han aprendido muchísimo y desarrollado su lengua de una manera impresionante en tan poco tiempo. Ahora solo falta darles las gracias a las madres de casa que recibieron a nuestros alumnos con tanto cariño y también contribuyeron a darles una imágen bonita del país.
