Our teacher José Luis has been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for all levels over more than 20 years. He has worked at various schools and institutions recognized by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes.

Our programme «Spanish at a teacher’s home» combines a Spanish course with guided cultural activities and full board accommodation. The family offers excellent local cuisine with regional and organic products. Students will live in an independent and fully equipped apartment (with terrace and swimming pool). The family lives with their pets in La Zubia. The village is situated about 5 km from Granada, at the edge of the Sierra Nevada National Park.

The Spanish course takes place during one week and consists of 4 Spanish classes lasting 45 minutes each, every day from Monday to Friday. The group will be divided in classes with a maximum of 8 students. Depending on the group's interests, we offer a tailor-made cultural programme with visits, conferences, dinners, Flamenco dancing, and day-filling guided tours. We will take care of everything during your stay, including accommodation. We generally offer accommodation in hotels, single or double rooms with breakfast.

As an Au Pair you will get the chance to travel to Spain in order to live with a local family in Granada. As you will have to speak with them in Spanish, it will allow you to learn the language at an immense speed.

Their Spanish course programme took place during the course week 27 and consisted in 4 Spanish lessons of 45 minutes per day, from Monday to Friday and from 09.00 to 12.15 h.

In addition to the Spanish classes at our school, we offer Salsa lessons in collaboration with a dance studio in Granada. So you can dance Salsa during your holiday, meet locals, make new friends and improve your Spanish while going out.

The Salsa lessons are focused on Salsa en Línea and Bachata Sensual.

You can dance the Salsa on 1 Los Angeles Style and the Salsa on 2 New York Style. The aim here is that the basic Salsa steps are danced in a line - in contrast to Salsa Cubana, in which couples rotate around themselves. In addition, you will also practice steps and special techniques of Bachata Sensual.
