¿Cómo te llamas? ¿De dónde eres? ¿A qué te dedicas?
Me llamo Martin Lobstedt.

Akram Galal Ibrahim from Egipt was one of our grant holders in July.

¿Cómo te llamas? ¿De dónde eres? ¿A qué te dedicas?
Me llamo Karen Yoder.
. . ¡Me gusta Granada!
He conocido a gente de China, Nueva Zelanda, Japón, Bélgica, Irak, Polonia, Alemania, Italia, Australia, Irlanda, Reino Unido, Austria, Suiza, Francia, etc.
We already have given away scholarships to the following students:

Adult students usually prefer spring time for a Spanish course at our school in Granada!
Practice Spanish in a workshop on the history and art of ceramic tiles in Granada.
In our new Spanish & Ceramic Tile Painting course you will learn how to hand-paint ceramic tiles under the guidance and inspiration of a local ceramicist with many years of experience. The teacher will help guide your technique and discuss with you the design you wish to follow. At the end of the course she will assist you with the glazing of the tile, prior to the firing in a special kiln. The tile you paint allows you to give free rein to your creativity: paint a tile and take it home with you as a unique souvenir from Granada.
Granada is renowned for the quality of its ceramic tiles which decorate houses and courtyards. The Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra are examples of the beauty of Andalusian culture. This decorative art is one of the legacies of Moorish times and has become a sign of identity of our city.

Also in April and May we continue with our Spanish course programmes for secondary schools!

In 1986 our school opened to seek an immersive approach to Spanish language learning. During all these years we have grown in number of international students and prestige. We are accredited by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and we are a member of TANDEM International, a network of language schools in Europe and overseas. With more than 800 students every year our school can be considered as a medium-sized Spanish language school.

As every year, 18 students from Harvard Westlake School in L.A. participated in a Spanish language programme at our school.
The programme consisted of 4 Spanish lessons in the morning, combined with cultural activities such as a guided visit to the Alhambra or a walk through the old Arabic quarter Albaicín organized by our teacher Paco.
During the breaks students and teachers visited a local coffee bar where they had chocolate & churros.
Students were accommodated in local host families where they had the opportunity to practice the language in everyday situations.
We wish you all the best for your trip to USA and hopefully see you again next year in Granada!
