Spanish courses in Granada and Cusco, Peru

Combine a Spanish course in Granada, Spain with a trip to Peru, one of the most beautiful countries in South America.

Cusco is an Andean metropolis at 3400 meters above sea level and with almost 400 000 inhabitants. One of its main attractions is the architecture. It bears witness to the flowering of the Inka culture and the violent intrusion of the Spanish conquerors over 500 years ago. For the Incas, Cusco was the centre of the universe. And until nowadays the city has not lost any of its fascination.

Most monuments and sights are located in the historical centre, which has been declared world cultural heritage in 1985. Here you will find restaurants, shops, bars and the Spanish language school ACUPARI. After a leisurely stroll around the picturesque squares and small streets the many cafes around the Plaza de Armas invite you to take a break.

Not far from the main square is San Pedro Market, where you can buy freshly squeezed juices and products grown in the valleys around Cusco. Here you'll find Andean potatoes and maize in many shapes and colours. In the afternoons you can visit the many churches and museums, or take a stroll up to the cobblestone streets of the artist quarter San Blas, where you will find countless galleries, handicraft shops and restaurants.

As the starting point for the trip to Machu Picchu, Cusco is well equipped to cater for the desires and needs of its international visitors. The city is the perfect place to discover South American mentality. While you learn Spanish in Cusco, you will discover more about Peru and its way of life every day.

All year round, we offer combined Spanish courses at a reduced cost in Granada and Cusco. Students are able to book a Spanish course in Granada and additional weeks at our partner school in Cusco. The Spanish language school ACUPARI was founded in Cusco in 1990 as a non-profit organisation. What is so special about this cultural institute right in the historical city centre?

At ACUPARI you will not meet a big crowd of international students participating in our Spanish courses. Instead, you are going to meet many young Peruvians studying German. They mostly work in tourism and are very interested in the cultural exchange with people from abroad.

if you feel comfortable, learning is easy. At the school you will study in a beautiful colonial building and in a friendly atmosphere. The teachers care for the needs of every individual student. Chatting in the coffee break, going on an unforgettable day trip, dancing salsa or visiting cultural events ... you will never get bored!
