Spanish course & gourmet sessions in Granada, Spain

In Spain, Gastronomy is written in capital letters. In the last few years, the whole world has been talking about Spanish Gastronomy and some global experts consider Spain to be a global leader for its creativity, innovative capacity, diversity and culinary vitality. In fact, many claim -El Bulli-, operated by Michelin three-star Spanish chef Ferrán Adria, is the best restaurant in Europe and quite possibly the world.

 

The gourmet sessions will take place at Tienda LA OLIVA over 2 evenings. Hosted by Francisco Lillo Roldán, a true gastronome, this shop offers a fantastic selection of organically grown Andalusian products such as wine, olive oil, cured meats and a lot more. The first evening session consists of a wine and olive oil tasting. You also will sample local delicatessen delights such as jamón, chorizos, quesos, aceitunas, gazpacho and ajoblanco. During the second session Francisco will prepare a special dinner for you based on local produce.

During the sessions you will not cook, but you will enjoy 2 evenings of excellent Andalusian food. And you will have the opportunity to improve your Spanish while chatting about Spanish and Andalusian gastronomy.

Gourmet sessions: in addition to a general Spanish course of 2 evenings per week.

Spanish level: elementary to intermediate.
