Combined Spanish - TEFL Course in Spain
Learn Spanish in Granada, become TEFL qualified and teach English in Spain!
In our special combined programme, we offer TEFL trainees the opportunity to learn and/or improve their Spanish in a 2 or 4 week course. If you are teaching in a foreign country, some knowledge of that country's language and culture can make your life easier and enrich your experience. As the TEFL programme offers job guidance in Spain, it is extremely useful to have at least a basic knowledge of the Spanish language.
After finishing your Spanish course you continue with a full-time 4-week TEFL course. The TEFL course is held at a partner school in Granada.
A TEFL certificate is the standard, internationally recognised teaching certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Job guidance
If you are thinking about working here in Spain, you may be worried
about the crisis. Although unemployment is high here, there is a big
demand for English teachers. Compared to other European countries, the
level of English here is quite low so Spaniards need to improve their
English in order to find a good job in Spain or abroad. Our partners
know the local market for English teachers and can help you find work.
In fact, thanks to a partnership with some important schools many of our
participants will be guaranteed a job in Granada or Malaga! You will
also get a letter of recommendation and information about job vacancies
in Spain and in other countries.
The TEFL teachers
The trainers have at a minimum a Master’s Degree in the field of
English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics, hold advanced TEFL
teaching certifications and have years of international classroom
teaching experience. They have on-going professional development and are
required to annually renew their certifications.
